Our
Story

1984

Thorne Research was founded, laying the groundwork for what would eventually become ThorneVet. Thorne Research established itself as a reputable manufacturer of high-quality nutritional supplements for humans.

1998

Thorne Research introduced its “No List,” a commitment to excluding unnecessary fillers, additives, and allergens from their products. This philosophy would later become integral to ThorneVet.

1999

The ThorneVet product line was established as part of Thorne Research. This marked the beginning of ThorneVet’s focus on veterinary supplements. The “No List” became a core part of ThorneVet’s philosophy, ensuring high-quality products for companion animals.

2019

ThorneVet became independent from Thorne Research, allowing it to focus more specifically on the veterinary market and continue its mission of providing premium, research-backed supplements for animals.

Present Day

ThorneVet has upgraded it’s brand and is now called PetDomain and it continues to innovate, renaming and reformulating products to better serve veterinarians and pet owners. The company remains committed to its core values of holistic philosophy, rigorous research, premium ingredients, and forward-thinking approaches to animal health.
