    I was hoping these would work since my cat won’t eat the powder. She is older and teeth are not great. I would not consider these soft chews. The smell is so strong I can’t hide in food not even salmon. Very disappointed. Can’t you make this in a small capsule or pill then I could use pill pocket. Or liquid even.

    The chewables are hard to chew and unappealing to my dog. I cannot hide them in food because of their size, shape, smell, and hardness. I now have to find a new product. Please bring the pill capsules back.

    Fantastic product!

    I used this product when it was found my just rescued dog had elevated liver enzymes on her initial blood test. The formulation is fantastic! And this brand already has a great reputation for quality, so I don’t have to worry about the ingredients they use.

    My senior dog is more puppy now

    Gabe, my 15 1/2 year old Golden/Sheltie, has had his gall bladder removed, and has a heart condition and some arthritis. I’ve been giving him a plethora of meds for these conditions and have been frustrated feeling that he wasn’t having the quality of life I’d hoped for. His veterinary acupuncturist suggested that some of the meds could be causing stomach upset and should be removed. His veterinarian was very open and researched what especially might be a good substitute for the med we were giving him for arthritis. He came up with Hepagen-C. I am very happy with Gabe’s progress since adding Hepagen-C to his regimen. His arthritis doesn’t seem to bother him as much, his walks are longer and his spirit is much better.

    My Boston Terrier had ALT values 3X normal and BUN about 50% higher than it should be. Hepagen-C was recommended by my holistic Veterinarian and after the dog was on it for 5 months it brought the ALT to only 2X normal and the BUN was normal! Since I trust PetDomain products I was delighted with the results. We are continuing treatment and will check blood again in about a month.

    Great Holistic Supplement

    Hepagen-Fc was recommended by a few of my MVD forums/seizure forums for my Biewer Yorkshire Terrier who gets seizures and was diagnosed with MVD (Hepatoportal microvascular dysplasia). Been using Hepagen-Fc now for over 2 years and seems to be working as my dogs blood count has not gone up and stabilized. This is a great price and shipping was fast. Love that Hep contains milk thistle a natural healing herb to help detoxify the liver.

    I ordered Hepagen-C by PetDomain to help my dog with her liver inflammation that was indicated in a blood test the Vet did.     My 15 year old pit bull seemed to tolerate this very well when I began giving this to her. Never went down without a problem I was VERY pleased when her labs were checked and it showed an improvement in her numbers. One liver enzyme was still a little high, but it was lower than before. My dog did not tolerate the antibiotic regimen nor the prescription liver support her vet prescribed for her; so I needed an alternative and I have been pleased with the results

    My dog’s liver enzymes were high and the vet was concerned since my little boy is 4 years old. He thought there maybe bacteria in his system and the liver is fighting to repair the problem. He gave him an antibiotic for a month and retook blood work only to find out the enzymes went up again. I researched holistic remedies with milk thistle and found this product. Gave my boy a pill every morning on a empty stomach for 5 weeks and went back to the vet to take a Bile Acid test and draw blood before he ate for the day and another blood draw one hour after he ate. The results came back great with the liver numbers back to normal. I believe this product helped in promoting the liver to repair itself and come back to normal readings. So glad I found this product!

    Positive Liver Support

    After a blood test for routine dental cleaning, our 7-year-old manchester terrier presented with lower than normal liver functioning. Our vet put him on a regimen of Denamarin. The levels came down to normal, but our budget could not sustain the $52 for a 30-day supply. A friend suggested Hepagen-C, so we gave it a go. Almost a year later, we have a healthy dog with normal liver function and less strain on the budget. Not to mention we feel significantly better knowing he’s receiving a nutritional supplement.

    Amazing!

    We purchased this for our 12yo Sheltie. Her liver was greatly enlarged and her liver enzymes were extremely elevated. We suspected the metastasis of cancer from several years prio but weren’t certain . She had become lethargic, lacking energy and interest in anything at all. Her quality of life was close to nil. We opted for all natural remedies as we waited to see if she’d be well enough for a biopsy. Full disclosure – we did start her on an essential oil daily at the same time we began the Hep-C. We took her back to the vet six weeks later. Her liver was noticeably smaller and her lab results stunned the vet. Her enzymes had lowered beyond significantly. Better yet, we had our baby back. She was eating, moving around again, animated, and wanting to play! Our vet said – “whatever you’re doing, keep doing it”. We later learned she had Cushing’s disease and have still opted for all natural treatment. It’s been approximately 9 months since we began this supplement and she is still doing well. We couldn’t be more pleased and have recommended this product to others.

    Happy Dog!

    I believe that Hepagen-C along with a good probiotic has help my 10 year old daschund mix suffer less bloat and tummy trouble from an enlarged liver do to her age..     I purchased the Hepagen for our dog Riley. Riley was on Phenobarbital for suspected seizures for several years. Now he has liver damage due to the Phenobarbital. I purchased the Hepagen as it was recommended by his new veterinarian as a way to help reverse some of the damage.

    Great!

    From my research I’ve determined my dog was having issues with his livers. Instead of spending $$$+ at the vet, I took a chance with this supplement (with a special diet) and it’s showing good results. After about a month diarrhea his subsiding and the stool is returning to normal healthy color. Hepagen is included in his daily meal now.

    Game changer

    I’ve been giving this to my 14 yr. old Sheltie who has cushing’s disease. His liver values were up. I decided to try this product. In two weeks time, she has more energy, happy to go for her walks, playful, normal stools and no pee pee accidents due to the cushing’s. This is the only thing new that I have added, so I’m convinced this is helping her. She is due for liver enzymes test in a month, so we will see then. Fingers crossed this supplement helps to keep her comfortable and with me longer.

    Improved liver enzymes

    My 8-year-old husky mix was diagnosed with hepatitis a while back and began a very expensive regimen of Denamarin, Marin Plus and Ursodiol. The combination of meds worked to begin improving her numbers. Then the company that made Marin Plus discontinued it and after consulting with my vet, we replaced it with Hepagen. Denamarin eventually became hard to find too, so for the past couple of months, my dog was only getting Hepagen and Ursodiol. She just had a recheck a couple of weeks ago and the vet was extremely pleased to see her numbers had improved even more. She suggested we not even worry about giving her the Denamarin anymore and just go with 2 Hepagen in the morning and 2 in the evening (my dog is 75 lbs), along with the Ursodiol. Very happy my vet recommended Hepagen, and equally happy to have found it with good prices and fast shipping.

    Improved my cat’s health!

    I got this for my cat with liver disease and I have seen a huge improvement with him since starting it a few weeks ago. He has struggled with liver disease and IBD for the past 2 years and all the other supplements I tried he either threw up, or would not touch in his food. I was thrilled that this powder actually smells like something a cat would eat, and he loves it mixed into his food. I never have to worry about him eating it. I also really appreciate the fact that, according to the description, the ingredients are more easily used by the body in cats that have absorption issues (which he does because of his IBD). It must be true because since he’s been on this, his energy levels have improved, he vomits a lot less and his stool has even started to look brown again instead of pale like it was before. There’s not doubt in my mind this is helping him and I’m so thankful. I’ll see how his liver enzymes are when he’s retested, but for now the proof for me is in the positive changes. The company is great too, they responded to a question I had pretty quickly. I highly recommend this for any cat with liver issues!

    Extremely Hopeful

    My dog was diagnosed with a tumor on his liver and I can’t afford the surgery so I researched all the items needed to support his liver function. This was the only product I found that combined all the ingredients together. Along with another holistic support, his liver values are holding steady and I think this product is part of the reason why. He’s not thrilled about it, I break it up and put it in his mouth til he chews and swallows. I could buy the powder version but I’m already adding so much other stuff to his food so I use the chewables. I think it’s helping him and that’s all that matters.

    My dog probably has hepatocellular carcinoma. Her liver enzymes are 5 and 10 times the upper limit of normal. While we’re waiting for a surgical consult, we started this supplement. Pretty much immediately, her constant diarrhea/loose stool (not managed very well for several years with antibiotics, probiotics, fiber, and prescription diets) went away.

    Hepagen-C Liver Cleansing (PetDomain)

    Hepagen-C by PetDomain was recommended by my homoeopathic Veterinarian. Our golden retriever has severe allergies and after some testing she felt that his liver wasn’t functioning as well as it should. Whenever our dog has a bad episode we give him Hepagen-C and over time he is able to get back on track. He also takes other supplements and enzymes so I can’t be 100 % sure which one helps the most but I think this product does help.

    The price was right and the shipping fast. The Demarin recommended by my vet was very expensive. This product was a better price. I have only started giving it to my two dogs, ages 7 & 9, at the advice of my vet. I can’t tell if it is working yet but they both tolerate it well. It would be much easier to administer if it was in tablet form instead of capsules, though.

    Has helped liver levels in our shepherd

    We started our 9 year old shepherd mix on hepagen c after some of her liver values came back elevated. At a 6 month check up her levels and gone down. We are contnuing to give her the hepagen c and hope the levels maintain or decrease even more at her next check up!

    Hi, my vet was previously giving my dog Denamarin for elevated liver enzymes for liver disease of an unknown origin. His liver enzymes were staying steady but not decreasinng, plus my dog would pant within an hour or so of eating his meals which told me he had some abdominal discomfort after eating. I decided to try this herbal product and so far, he seems to tolerate it well. Less panting after eating….and the proof will hopefully be in lower liver enzymes when I get him retested in a few months. I will post back then.

    It has such a pungent odor

    Is that normal to have such an odor and my daughter ordered some and hers came in a powder form mine is in shape of a bone chewy
